The cutest, coziest cabin in all of Tahoe! Remodeled inside and out to retain the original 1940s feel, this 2-bedroom beauty has all the modern comforts and conveniences. The location is perfect for family activities, with the beach, recreation center, swimming pool and skating rink all within two blocks.
This home has comfortable sleeping & dining for a family of 4. It cannot host more than 4 adults. This applies 24/7.

The cabin is located right next door to our "RnR Vacation Rentals World Headquarters" in-law unit. We never rent out the in-law unit, though occasionally the owners, Stu & Diana, as well as friends or family members of said owners will stay there. They pride themselves on being invisible to guests who stay in the Cozy Cabin, unless of course you need assistance or would like to chat. During the day you may see our Field Service team members or cleaning staff as they walk through the in-law unit to grab supplies from the private shed in the back, but no worries, they won't disrupt your vacation either.
The kitchen has been completely updated w/granite counters, wood floor & new appliances. It is fully stocked w/dishes, pots & pans & utensils for easy meal preparation. Each of the rooms are nicely decorated w/heavy pine furniture, quilts & lighting that all fit perfectly w/the decor.
There is a backyard patio space w/ a super deluxe hot tub. We provide a gas BBQ & a couple of lounge chairs for relaxing too.
The living room features a gas fireplace insert, a futon sofa, two chairs, & YouTubeTV. You can log in to your own Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Sling, AppleTV+ or other streaming service.
The bathroom includes a stand-up shower & a stackable washer/dryer.
NEW! Charger for Electric Vehicles! Charging port is conveniently mounted to the left of the front door. Before your stay, you'll receive an activation email to register & remit payment for the EV charging service, or simply scan the QR code on the face of the charger & follow the instructions when you arrive.
There is free WiFi throughout the home.
During the winter, the home is very warm, thanks to great insulation, double-pane windows, & extra heavy wooden blinds. The home is in one of the most historic developments in South Lake Tahoe, designed in 1929. The neighborhood is a mix of cute cabins, remodels, & new homes. The closest grocery store is Safeway, an easy 1/2 mile walk.
The city's recreation complex is right around the corner, w/playgrounds, indoor pool, indoor ice rink, lighted sports fields, courts, disc golf, & gym.
Pets: 1-2 dogs allowed w/ pre-approval. No other animals allowed. Bring a crate if you plan to leave a dog unattended. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or in/on beds. Any barking or behavior that bothers neighbors is not allowed. You will be responsible for extra cleaning charges for hair on furniture, pet stains, dog droppings, & any damage caused by dog(s).
This home does not have air conditioning.
For 30+ day stays, you can cancel your reservation up to 60 days prior to your arrival date & receive a full refund. Cancellations or modifications made within 60 days of your arrival will not be refunded.
