This house will especially suit families with young children as has easy access to outdoors. Apart from the local superb surf and safe harbour beaches, there are many attractive walks and bicycle ways - cobbled footpaths wind their way around the up market Pios subdivision and a walkway borders the sand dunes for an easy stroll adjoining many of the impressive beach residences.
Relax at the local cafe or within a few minutes drive or active cycle, is the Waihi Beach township with its boutique shopping, bakeries, and restaurants. A further short drive away are the historical sites of the Karangahake Gorge and the gold mining township of Waihi - and for the children there is the vintage train ride through the gorge - for the adults as well there are extensive developed walk or cycle ways that meander alongside the river and through the abandoned train tunnel - a must do which will be always remembered!
Else just take the easy option and relax with a book under the umbrella in the courtyard and make the most of your escape from the usual daily pressures!
A final nice touch is a hot water outside shower in a private setting!
