Welcome to our little corner of the world nestled in famed gold mining history & wine country. Gigi’s Blue Roof Cottage is on a beautiful piece of land in a muti-generational family setting with a couple of curly haired labradoodles that is fully fenced and gated. We love our home and are extending an invitation to briefly experience what we wake up to daily with others who are on an adventure. We are located about 7 minutes from downtown Placerville, California, Hangtown, or originally known as "Old Dry Diggins" for a little gold mining history. You can try your hand at gold mining yourself about 20 minutes away on the famous HWY 49 to Coloma Marshall Gold Discovery or Tour Gold Bug Park & Mine, about 17 minutes away, where you can jump back in time. We are 15 minutes from famous Apple Hill where you will find Fresh fruits and vegis, Apple Cider, Wine and what we believe to be the best pies! South Lake Tahoe is around an hour and a half drive up the mountain where in the winter you can snowboard all day and the summer chill on the lake. We are excited to be a part of your adventure!
