This spacious two level house with first floor deck has gorgeous sea views. There’s a secluded lawned garden with palms and natives, stream and bridge.
The elevation of the main living area and bedrooms offers the perfect way to enjoy the views. In front of the house the reserve is dotted with Norfolk pines. The sound of the waves will de-stress you or lull you to sleep. The family friendly beach is golden sand, and gently slopes into the water.
The house ticks all your boxes for a holiday home. Upstairs bifold doors open to a large deck, with covered and open air entertainment spaces. Comfy outdoor seating complements a dining table and chairs. There is a fully equipped kitchen, three bright bedrooms (two with deck access), shower room, toilet and laundry.
The self contained downstairs level has its own kitchenette, bedroom, living area with TV, shower room, toilet and two decks. Bifold doors lead to the garden, complete with picnic table and outdoor shower. A snooker table provides entertainment and games are stowed away in the cupboard.
For the keen boatie, boat ramps are nearby and there's space for your boat on the drive. The garden has lots of space for the kids to run around, and there's a trampoline.
The small beachside community of Hihi looks to Mangonui across the harbour as well as out to sea. A small seasonal shop provides basic groceries.
The delights of Mangonui are just 10 minutes away, with cafes and restaurants, gift shops, tourist information, 4Square, and the most famous fish and chip shop in New Zealand! It’s a lovely destination for a stroll along the waterfront or to walk the heritage trail. There are two weekly Saturday markets and one on summer Tuesday evenings.
Coopers Beach and Cable Bay hug the coastline of Doubtless Bay, with several shops such as supermarket, hairdresser and pharmacy.
Within an hour there are plenty of beautiful beaches just waiting to be explored, and Kaitaia and Kerikeri both have cinemas and places to eat.
