Our two-bedroom home is nestled in a quiet neighborhood at the north end of beautiful West Seattle. Walk 1/2-block up the street for a spectacular panoramic view of the moon over Elliot Bay.
Luna Lower occupies the entire main floor of this charming 1920s home. A second rental unit, with separate entrance, is on the second floor of the house. Overall, Luna Lower can sleep up to four guests. There are two queen bedrooms and one full bath. A fully equipped kitchen with breakfast nook, dining room, and spacious living room with soaring coved ceilings complete the space. Guests have access to the basement laundry room and backyard. Towels and linens are provided, as well as basic kitchen gear, wireless high-speed internet, and cable tv. A portable crib is kept in one bedroom closet for easy access. This is a pet-free, smoke-free property.
It is usually easy to find a parking spot on the street near the house (free parking, no permit required). Our small driveway is also available for guest use, on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The Luna Park neighborhood is located just a few blocks away from the start of Harbor Ave, which is perfect for jogging, walking, biking and rollerblading to Alki Beach (Seattle's premiere beach). There is also a convenient water taxi (walk on ferry) to take you from the beach to downtown Seattle. The location also offers easy bus access to downtown.
Within a few blocks of our house you will find a nice variety of restaurants and cafe/diners such as Luna Park Cafe, one of the best breakfast diners in Seattle. From our house it is just a short drive to Alki Beach where you'll find a myriad of fine and casual dining choices.
This is the perfect jumping-off point for fantastic sightseeing, museums, the Pike Place Market, the Seattle Center (which houses the Pacific Science Center, Experience Music Project and Space Needle) Aquarium, Zoo, fine restaurants, ferries, and all of the hiking, skiing, and outdoor adventure that our surrounding mountains have to offer.
