Our large house offers the perfect retreat for families & groups seeking a memorable getaway. Nestled on 11 beautiful acres in a peaceful and charming neighborhood, you'll love the resort-like amenities, such as the pool with water slide & jacuzzi jets, and the large patio with ample seating & a built-in firepit. Very private, yet close to great shopping, restaurants, farms, and more, plus it's only 1 hour from NYC.
A long, private driveway ascends a serene hillside to this grand Mid-Hudson, NY estate surrounded by nature, providing the privacy and serenity required for a wonderful getaway. This modern home is an impressive 5,500 sq ft, which includes 9 bedrooms, 7 full bathrooms, 2 living rooms, a big dining room with seating for 20, plus some bonuses like a fun bar and movie theater. Three of the bed/baths are en suite. Please note that we are limited to 24 overnight guests.
There are several alfresco dining areas, as well as a large gas BBQ grill. Gather your group at the patio dining table. Serve up a fresh farm-to-table lunch of produce from the local Blooming Hill farmers market. After lunch, play some yard games, stroll through the woods or enjoy a hike through the forest. The pool is a wonderful place to enjoy the summer heat, with a super fun slide to keep the kids entertained. Please note that the pool is open from approximately June 15 to Sept 1, and it is not heated.
The front veranda, with its panoramic views of the rolling landscape, is a great place to enjoy a glass of wine from local Brotherhood Vineyard, America’s oldest winery, which is just up the road. After a day of Hudson Valley sightseeing, gather your group for s’mores and cocktails around the firepit.
With 9 comfy bedrooms, you'll have plenty of space to spread out. Three of the bedrooms have an attached bathroom. The main suite has two walk-in closets, a vaulted tray ceiling and a jacuzzi bubble tub. With advance notice, cots, cribs and pack & plays are available for families traveling with small children.
The huge basement rec room is a highlight of this Hudson Valley mansion. A home theater in the basement features a 93” movie screen/projector as well as reclining leather sectional sofa with ample seating.
Just beside the home theater is a kitchenette and bar, adorned with classic NY antiquities and vintage memorabilia. (Please note: the vintage arcade games are not functional)
We also have a separate kosher kitchen, but you must request access to it prior to booking.
Please note, this house is set up for extended family groups and it is not suitable for rowdy parties. Outside guests are not allowed without prior approval. Unauthorized use of the home may result in immediate removal without a refund and guests will be held liable for any damage.
Please note: The pool is only available from approximately June 15 - to September 1 and it is not heated. There are retro arcade games in the basement, but they do not work.
