Whether you're here to hike, fish, photograph wildlife, explore Yellowstone, or simply breathe in the fresh mountain air, this cabin offers the perfect base camp. This 1,040 square ft log cabin, built in 2019, is located in the old mining town of Jardine, just 5.5 miles up a county maintained dirt road from Gardiner, Montana - and worth all fifteen minutes of the drive to get here. Cabin 2, along with our other three cabins, sits on just over 12 acres of private property that borders national forest land. You'll be hard pressed to find a more comfortable, cozy space than this one.
The old Jardine mine site is part of the beautiful and unique mountain views you'll see while you sip your morning coffee or tea from the back patio, as well as being able to see and hear Bear Creek! Soak in the spring flowers and Montana sunsets over the ridge out front. If you prefer your walks without the crowds of Yellowstone, there are also great hiking trails just a short walk from the front door. We'll leave you a can of bear spray to borrow while you're out exploring the area.
