Bright 4 bedroom home in coastal Matua with a tranquil water outlook A perfect base for your Bay of Plenty Holiday Toys, fenced back yard, port a cot and high chair available, to make your family getaway a breeze Pets allowed at owner discretion, please message me to discuss 10 min drive to Tauranga CBD, 20 min drive to Mount Maunganui 5-10 min walk to our local beach and reserve, Fergusson Park - Playgrounds for children, calm shallow water, large grass reserve 3 bedrooms and a sleepout: Queen in master bedroom King single and single in bedrooms 2 and 3 Queen bed in sleepout 1 Bathroom with separate shower and bath, separate toilet room Sunny full kitchen for your use which opens out to a 6 seat dining area with a cushioned bay window and tranquil water views of the Tauranga Matua Harbour. Children's table and 4 chairs are available for use. Move into the gloriously sunny conservatory and rest on the sofa for more water views and an easy place to keep an eye on the kids. The little ones will be amused in the fully fenced backyard, complete with 8ft netted trampoline and playhouse. Outdoors there is a 6 seater table with umbrella to enjoy your meals plus a kids picnic table with its own sunshade umbrella. Enjoy the BBQ if you wish. Large living area with 32" TV (Chromecast or DVD no satellite channels), adult and children's games, toys available for use. Plenty of off street parking and room for a boat or caravan Full laundry facilities available, with a large rotary clothesline outdoors, sorry there is no electric clothes drier The bathroom is a little dated and boasts 70's decor, but has great shower pressure and a separate bath for little ones. Please be aware the hot water runs very hot from the tap - we have had a new infinity gas hot water system installed for excellent hot showers! Bus stop opposite the driveway for transport around Tauranga. This is our family home and some of our things will be in view, the garage will be locked and off limits, Linen cupboard is also locked and off limits. Please be respectful of our space and understand that any food left in the fridge, freezer and pantry is not for guests to use. We are a household with food allergy and it's important that you do not contaminate our food. You may help yourself to the oil, salt, pepper, tea, coffee and sugar on the counter as per the amenities listed. Please bring your own beach towels, or excess towels if you require more than 1 per guest. Enjoy a break in the Bay of Plenty and experience all that Tauranga has to offer - Golden sandy beaches, water sports galore, cycle tracks, hiking and walking tracks, family friendly parks and play grounds, fantastic restaurants and eateries. Explore Mount Maunganui (20 mins) and easily drive to Rotorua for the day (1 hour), Waihi or Bowentown (50 min), Omokoroa (20 min) Karangahake Gorge (1hr) 5 min walk to our local reserve Fergusson park with a playground, grass reserve and sheltered, shallow beaches. BBQ facilites and toilet/change rooms are available. Watch the kite surfers at play or give it a go yourself! Walk or cycle along the Matua waterfront with stunning views from the Kaimai ranges to Mount Maunganui and the Tauranga port, see the "giraffes" and cruise ships arrive and depart. Head RIGHT out of the driveway towards Manuwai drive and you will find two coastal access stairways, check it out at low tide (which you can easily check from the house!) and walk around the peninsula. Countdown BURETA is a 5 min drive for your food needs.
