Beautiful tiny home located in Puyallup along a small creek in a farm setting. The house and deck overlook a large grassy field, apple orchard, and neighboring farms. This little house is equipped with everything you’ll need for a comfortable pleasant stay. With 2 upstairs lofts, including a twin and a full bed, it can sleep 2 guests. Located just 5 minutes from downtown Puyallup, a cute little town that's well connected to Seattle and Tacoma via bus and rail service. Mt. Rainier NP, Olympic NP, & other outdoor activities all in reach.
The space:
Professionally built by a Spokane based tiny home builder, the house was originally purposed for the tiny home tv show.
The seating area on the ground floor folds out into a larger sleeping area. There is a larger loft above with a twin size bed and a larger loft with a full sized bed. Both are ladder access only.
Tiny bathroom is a wet bathroom with a flush toilet, and shower in one. Hemlock wood deck overlooks the grass field, orchard, farms and creek.
Guest access
You'll have full access to the Tiny and are free to enjoy the grass field and orchard. The 8 acre property backs to the Rhododendron Creek where you may see salmon, and waterfowl.Towards the end of the property is an amazing view of Mt. Rainier if the skies are cloudless. We have a Decoursey Park one mile down the road, as well as Watsons nursery just behind the property. On the on the North side of our property is my personal residence.There is the original 1901 farm house on the west side as well. Nether property structures obstruct the view or impeded the privacy of the tiny home. Finally there is plenty of parking space in the gravel driveway.
Other things to note
- The two lofts are accessed by ladder; the ladder can be switched.
- Two regular sized houses, are also on property. Vehicles may be heard when entering or leaving the driveway.
- Property is located in an agricultural area not far from the town center. If you arrive during the afternoon, be aware that commuter traffic in and around Puyallup peaks around 5pm.
-Do expect some road noise as the property fronts a county road- more often during the day and peak travel times, but occasionally at night as well.
- The train runs through the valley about a half mile away and can be heard occasionally.
- Once a month, on the first Monday at noon, there is a test of the Lahar Warning System for a minute.
