Two blocks from Irving Park, you'll be close to the best of Portland in our centrally-located basement studio. We are within walking distance to some of the best eateries in the city. Moda and the Convention Center are a mile away.
Our studio is located in the basement of our home. We live upstairs with our daughter and dog, so you will hear us walking around and talking, especially on the weekends. During the week, Whit starts work at 5 am (she works on east coast time).
The access to the studio is completely independent of our home, so you will not share inside space with us. The keyless entry is simple to use and allows you to not worry about losing a key.
Our studio is quite spacious! The kitchen, dining room, and living room open to one another, offering easy access between rooms. Since it's a studio, the bedroom does not have a door on it, but it's closed off by four walls and a door frame.
Our kitchen has just about everything you need (two ways to make coffee!) except for a dishwasher, but we have a drying rack, dish soap, and scrubbing brushes for you to use. Want to cook? We have pots, pans, measuring cups, cutting boards, and your basic spices. If you need more kitchen appliances, please let us know.
The living room's sofa pulls out into a queen bed, with the option to use the mattress topper in the sofa's storage unit to make it extra comfortable. Feel free to log into your apps on our Smart TV to entertain yourself.
The bedroom is equipped with a queen bed, dresser, and two side tables. The laundry room is accessed through the bedroom. Feel free to do a few loads of laundry while you're here.
The full bathroom offers a tub, shower, toilet, and sink. We recently installed a ductless ac/heat unit which provides comfort throughout the studio.
Our front porch is yours to use if you so wish.
We have a private pool in our backyard available for hourly rentals for an additional charge. Please inquire with us for rates and availability.
